Bard Social Strategy

Bard, now known as Gemini, is Google's AI chat interface.

I worked on the small team to align communication strategy for Bard on social media. I helped concept, script, and star in Google's short form video advertisements.

Below is a coding video tutorial I made for Bard. I had to find a way to make coding fun and engaging for a general audience. The video has over 40 million views across Instagram, Tik Tok, and YouTube.

Personal Note

At the surface, an advertisement like this is quite haunting (and makes me cringe). I can barely watch back the video without shivering from my Gen Z corporate tone.

HOWEVER, at its best.... these videos maybe-possibly-could have planted a tiny seed for nontraditional ways to use AI. And I guess that seed benefits from the instant distribution through AI marketing at a giant tech company.
